"What ever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might." Ecclesiastes 9:10 What a simple, yet, important verse. There are a few ways to do something. Something can be done just for the sake of doing it, to say you got it done; it can be done in a mediocre way, or it can be done with all your heart and soul! I prefer the latter. God insists that we be passionate about what we do. There should be an energy that is evident behind all we do. Nothing should ever be done in a haphazard way. God demands our best. We owe it to Him for all that He has done for us, after all, He gave His very best for us. It sounds like a tall order to: clean the house to the best of our ability, to cook to the best of our ability, to do laundry, take care of the children, to go to work and do our best, to work that ministry like no man has seen before, to invest the proper amount of time on that sermon, to teach Sunday school, and do everything we know how to do as one who is driven and passionate about it. But is it a tall order? Not to God! It is expected of us. We are in year 2021 and although church attendance is different and our gathering together is less, it will still be up to God's standards to handle our lives in this way. If you and I develop a habit of doing something a certain way, it will become natural and normal for us to operate to the full maximum potential. May 2021 prove to be the year we make great strides spiritually, keeping in mind that God is the person who deserves your best!
